Chicken, potato & pepper casserole

1 chicken cut into portions, deveined, washed & drained.2 tablespoons lemon juice1 onion finely chopped1 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon chilli garlic paste1 teaspoon fine red chilli powder ¼ teaspoon black pepper1 teaspoon freshly ground green chillies1 tomato slicedColoured peppers finely cubed3 medium potatoes boiled with skin. Allow to cool. Peel of skin and slice.
Marinate chicken. Allow to cook in a little butter. Halfway through add chopped onion. Once water evaporates (not dry). Place in an oven proof dish. Top with peppers, tomato slices & potato slices. Cover with cheese and dot with butter. Bake at 180 till browned. Serve with green chutney and roti.
Optional: a white sauce can be added to chicken. (I didn’t add white sauce) This dish is delicious and the best part is it’s one dish to warm. 😍👌🏻
