INGREDIENTS
4 eggs separated
1 ½ cup cake flour
2 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 cup sugar
⅓ cup oil
½ cup water
500ml sweetened fresh cream stiffly beaten
strawberry jam
METHOD
beat egg whites till stiff and leave aside. sift
the cake flour and baking powder thrice. beat
sugar and the egg yolks.beat for 5 minutes and then
add the flour and baking powder mixture and the
oil and water. beat till pale. fold in the egg
whites and pour into your baking pan. bake for 35
minutes approx at 180.
when cool completely slice in the middle and
spread strawberry jam and then fresh cream. join
the two pieces together and then completely cover
in fresh cream and decorate as required . or as
in the picture. I used green and red cherries and
crushed flake chocolates.
