INGREDIENTS
3 cups cake flour
250g butter
½ cup milk
1 egg yolk
½ teaspoon salt
Filling
6 cup peeled and sliced apples
1 cup sugar o to taste
¼ cup melted butter
2 tablespoon flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon pwder
Glaze
1 egg white lightly beaten
½ cup icing sugar
2-3 teaspoon water
METHOD
In a bowl combine flour and salt cut in the butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Combine egg yolk and milk add to flour mixture. Stir just until dough clings together. Divide dough in two. Rollhalf the dough on a flour surface and transfer in a greased tray. In a bowl tossda filling ingredients and spoon over pastry in tray. Roll out the second dough and place over the filling. Brush wit egg white. Bake for 40 minutes. For the glaze combine the icing sugar and enough water to gt a drizzle consistency. Drizzle over warm pastry. Cut in squares. Serve warm o cold.
