125g butter83 ml sugar1 egg167 ml chopped dates155 g self raising flour2 cups (250g) lightly crushed cornflakes
Cream butter and sugar. Add egg. Beat well. Fold In sifted flour and dates, mix well.Drop teaspoonfuls of mixture into cornflakes, roll lightly. Place on lightly greased trays. Allow room for spreading. Bake at 200°c for about 20 minutes.
