INGREDIENTS
• ½ cup of Honey•1 tablespoon of Lemon Juice •4 tablespoons of Water•1 ½ teaspoons of Ginger •Icing Sugar/Vitamin C powder
Optional:•Spices(Cinnamon/Nutmeg/Mixed Spice/Cloves)•Lemon Essence•Black Seed Oil
METHOD
-Combine honey,lemon,ginger and spices in a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium/low heat -Continously stir the mixture using a wooden spoon and lower heat if necessary-Use a candy thermometer to test if the mixture is ready or drop a spoonful into a bowl of icy water-If mixture doesn't crystallize in bowl continue stirring.Bubbles should form and the consistency should thicken -When the mixture is ready pour into silicone mould or drop spoonfuls onto wax paper-Allow to cool and dust with icing sugar/cinnamon or vitamin C powder to prevent sticking to each other.-Store in the fridge or at room temperature in an airtight container
