RECIPE
Not your average candle—this one’s made for dipping!
Garlic butter candle
@faads_na
Melt in a saucepan:125g butter¼ teaspoon saltSprinkle of Aromat (a South African Spice)½ teaspoon black pepperGround green chilliesParsley1 tablespoon garlic
I used a small Styrofoam cup.Add a cotton wick in the middle.Poke the bottom of the cup with a toothpick.Thread the wick through the hole.Cover with a small piece of foil and tape to seal.Use a skewer to hold the wick on the top of the cup.Pour butter into the cup and freeze until solid.
Ideally, wait for the butter to solidify, then put softened butter into the cup, because my garlic sank to the bottom and I had to redo it.
If you love garlic bread, this is for you! This was fun and delicious! Candle needs to be lit for at least 10 minutes before you start dipping.!
This makes such a good appetizer and is super delish!
