Zinger Pops-½ - 1 sachet KFC zinger spice1 cup self raising flour½ teaspoon salt2 teaspoon dried rough red chillies1 teaspoon dried italian seasoning1 teaspoon onion powder500g chicken fillet medium cubes2-3 Eggs (beaten) Mash-4 soft cooking potatoes (bake in microwave)¼ cup milkSalt and pepper (to taste)Butter (to taste) Gravy-1-2 packets Knorr Roast Chicken gravyWater as needed Also needed-1 cup Mc'Cains frozen cornSalt, pepper, butter (to taste)Grated Lancewood gouda cheeseChopped parsley
Pops-1. Mix all dry ingredients together in a dish.2. Dip chicken cubes in egg, then flour mix, then repeat.3. Place in fridge to firm whilst heating oil. 4. Deep fry chicken until golden brown and cooked through. Mash & Gravy-1. Peel & mash potatoes.2. Add milk & butter. Season with salt and pepper.3. Add water as instructed & stir till thickened. Assembly-1. Shape mash into a bowl (in a bowl).2. Place pops in mash bowl.3. Add corn, sprinkle cheese & dried parsley4. Pour over hot gravy.5. Serve with a spoon/fork. Note: Can use store bought pops and bake/fry.
