INGREDIENTS
2 tablespoon oil½ teaspoon garlic paste1 large onion (grated)½ cup chicken fillet (cubed)2 medium carrots (grated)1 medium potato (cubed)1 large tomato (cubed)½ cup jungle oats1 teaspoon red chillies½ teaspoon salt½ teaspoon dana Jeeru (Cumin)¼ teaspoon white pepper2 tablespoon parsley (chopped)
METHOD
- Heat oil, fry garlic and onion- Cook for a few minutes then add the chicken, carrots, potato and tomato- Braise for a few minutes and add the jungle oats- Add the spices and cook for a few minutes- Add 1 ½ liter of water and bring to a boil- Reduce the heat and simmer the soup until boiled down to half- Cool, liquidize and strain soup- Bring to a boil again and add the parsley. - Add more salt if required
INFO & TIPS
* I just used a hand mixer to liquidize it and didn't strain the soup
* Do check the salt after liquidizing as i required way more than what's written
* Used dried parsley that i sprinkled just before liquidizing
