INGREDIENTS
1/2kg chicken mince1 teaspoon oil1 teaspoon saltPinch of black pepper1 ½ teaspoon lemon juice1 teaspoon dhana Jeeru (Cumin) powder½ teaspoon Jeeru (Cumin) powder1 ½ teaspoon green masala½ teaspoon garlic¼ teaspoon ginger1 med. Onion - (grate and squeeze out excess water)Chopped dhania (coriander) and mint(optional)Samosa pur
METHOD
1.) Braise mince in a little oil with ginger, garlic, salt, dhana Jeeru (Cumin) powder, green masala and a bit of black pepper - cook till dry.2.) Add grated onions and lemon juice and steam for a bit (+-5mins).3.) Add chopped dhania (coriander) and mint (optional).4.) Leave to cool then fill as samosas.
INFO & TIPS
For cheesy chicken spinach samosas:
-Add baby spinach leaves in just before adding the onions (1 cup)
-when mixture is cold - add grated mozarella cheese (1/2 cup)
-These can be dipped in egg and breadcrumbs once filled (optional)
