Green masala akni

Green Masala:Liquidize the following2 big bunches dhania (coriander)8-10 green chillies1 med tomato
Method:In pot add Oil and ghee (Clarified butter)Jeera seeds, cinnamon sticks, cloves, whole pepperSauté finely slice large onion till goldenThen add 2 teaspoon freshly ground ginger and garlic paste, salt, tumeric powder and braise for a minuteAdd mutton or chicken and mix well, cook on medium heat for 15 minutes adding little water if neededThen add green masala mixture and mix wellImmediately add ffg spices:3 teaspoon Dhana and 2 teaspoon jeera powder1 teaspoon Crushed chillie powder1 teaspoon garam masalaAllow to cook on med heat for 10-15 minutes till well integrated and till oil separates to the top
Then add to the pot 2 and half cups of washed basmati rice with cut potatoes and 2 and half teaspoon saltAdding little amounts of waterOnce rice swells a bit (10-15 minutes), add little more water and place pot in hot preheated 180 degrees oven for half an hour until all moisture has evaporated and till done.
Enjoy with greek yoghurt, sambals and papadum.Khatija Glitter
