INGREDIENTS
500 g spaghetti300 g lamb mince2 cups frozen mix veg1 medium onion sliced1 tablespoon ginger grated5 cloves garlic grated (I used 1 tablespoon ginger garlic instead )1 green chilli chopped (I used grounded)½ tablespoon salt1 teaspoon turmeric1 teaspoon coriander1 teaspoon garam masala500 g tomato passata (I used 500g tomatoes liquidized + 1 teaspoon sugar)
METHOD
- on medium heat heat some oil, add the mince with ½ teaspoon salt and brown.- add the mix veg and leave it to cook till all the water is dried up- add the onion, ginger, garlic and chilli and cook till onion is soft- add the spices, salt and ½ cup of water and leave it to cook for +-7mn- add your passata or your liquidized tomatoes and cook it for a little while(I have used fresh tomatoes so it took longer to cook and reduce). Check the salt. - boil spaghetti and then add to the mixture. - ready to serve
