1kg rump or topside steak cut into big chunks 1 tablespoon garlic 1 tablespoon red chili paste 1 teaspoon ginger 2 tablespoon. vinegar 1 teaspoon dhana powder 1 teaspoon jeera powder 1 teaspoon gorimas orange pepper spice 1 teaspoon gorimas bbq spice ½ teaspoon haldi 1 teaspoon crushed red chillisalt to taste
1 onions chopped 2 sticks of cinnamon 3 to 4 peppercorn 1 big or 2 small tomatoes pureed
dhania (coriander) for garnish
Wash and cut steak.Add all the spices and marinate steak for few hours or overnight.Add the chopped onion along with the whole spice to a pot with some oil.Braise onions until almost golden, now add the steak and cook this for 10 minutes.Add approximately 2 cups of water, lower heat, close the pot and allow to cook until steak is almost tender.Add the tomato and cook until the water has burnt out.Garnish with dhania (coriander) Serve lightly toasted garlic pita or soft rotis

You can add more tomato and water to make a gravy , serve this with rice.
