You will need 1 kg cut up chicken 2 cups boiled basmati or any rice with salt and drain1 cup mixed veges steamed5 potatoes cut up in halves and fried lightly with salt and crushed red chilli2 boiled potatoes cut in wedges In a dish mix all the under mentioned Together1 kg cut up chicken1 teaspoon lemon juice1 large fried golden brown onion(In 3 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter) and 2 tablespoon oil)¼ cup yoghurt or maasSaffron¼ cup tomato puree1 grated tomato.1 full tablespoon ginger garlic paste1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon tumeric+- 2 teaspoon kashmiri chilli powder1 teaspoon crushed red chilli1 full teaspoon kashmiri masala1 ½ teaspoon Dhana jeera mix Little powdered Elachi (cardomom) or 2 pods2 Cinnamon sticks 3-4 whole peppers slightly crushed and 1 aniseed Little whole jeera Few Curry leaves1-2 green chilliesMarinate all of the above Transfer to pot cook on stoveTill curry is cooked and chicken softGRAVY MUST BE THICK NOW LAYERPlace in a casseroleAll the Chicken CurrySprinkle some fresh chopped green dhania (coriander) (optional)Now layer some veges (keep some out aside for topping on the rice )Then potatoes Then place the rice Then top it with The rest of the vegesAnd the boiled egg wedges or slicesCover with foil Bake in oven for +-1 hour 15 minutes Serve with Salads and raito and paparEnjoy
