INGREDIENTS
2 cups self-raising flour1 cup maas (buttermilk)Salt to taste1 egg (whisked in a bowl)Sesame seeds Cumin seeds (Jeera)
METHOD
Preheat the oven to 160 degrees.Combine the self-raising flour, salt and cumin seeds in a bowl. Add the maas and form a round dough. Do not roll it much. Place the dough out onto a greased and lightly floured round baking tin. Brush the top of the naan with the whisked egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake for approximately 15 minutes until the naan has risen and the top is golden brown. Remove, allow to cool and enjoy.
