INGREDIENTS
2 cups dhall (lentils) Salt ½ teaspoon turmeric powder¼ teaspoon bicarbonateBoil till all mushy and softHeat ghee (Clarified butter) or oil in pot Add 1 teaspoon Jeera seeds ½ teaspoon mustard seeds Black pepper corns ½ teaspoon garlic 2 dry chilies Braise till all the flavors is released Add two chopped onions Curry leaves 2 green chillies Tamarind
METHOD
Once the onions is braised Add the dual and ½ cup of tamarind pulp I take a fairly big sized peace and soak in a little hot water dhania (coriander) When cooked serve hot
