Preheat Oven 175° 2 cups plain flour. 2 teaspoon baking powder. Pinch of salt. 2 teaspoon ground cinnamon. 1 cup vegetable oil. 1 ½ cup brown sugar. ¼ cup of milk.3 eggs beaten. 1 teaspoon vanilla essence. 3 fresh figs (slice).
Topping 180g Cream cheese. ¼ cup Icing sugar. 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence. Chopped pistachios. 4 Quartered figs. 2 tablespoon honey.
Beat sugar, oil, milk, eggs and vanilla essence until soft.Add the dry ingredients and whisk well. Lined a 7 inch cake tin with parchment paper.Arrange slices of figs at the bottom and sides of tin. Pour cake batter into cake tin.Bake for 50 minutes or until skewer came out clean.Cool
Whip cream cheese, sugar and essence together. Spread on cake.Place the quarters figs and scatter the chopped pistachios and drizzle some honey over the top. Ready.
