INGREDIENTS
1 cup macaroni½ teaspoon rough salt1 tablespoon oil2 packets knorr classic white sauce½ teaspoon white pepperSalt (to taste)½ teaspoon mustard powderDash dried mixed herbs½ cup grated cheddar cheese2 eggs (beaten)Kellogg's crumbs/ dried breadcrumbs (for coating)oil (for frying)
METHOD
1. Boil macaroni with rough salt and oil till cooked, drain and keep aside.2. In a pot, add water as instructed for the white sauce, and boil till slightly thick.3. Keep sauce aside and when slightly cool add in macaroni, cheddar cheese, spices and mix nicely.4. Transfer mixture onto an oven tray and chill in fridge for about 1-2 hours.5. Remove mixture from fridge, and roll into small balls.6. Place back in fridge for about half an hour.7. Preheat oil till 160degC.8. Dip balls into egg and coat in breadcrumbs.9. Fry till golden and crispy.10. Drain excess oil on kitchen paper and serve with a tomato dip.
