4 large Pineapples cut up chunkyRinceDrainPut in a large dishAdd 1 cup akalwaya pickle masalaCinnamon sticks Elachi (cardomom) podsPinch of saffronMake a syrup with 3 heaped tablespoon mazina (make a paste) +-¾ cup sugar1 ½ cup vinegar1 cup water Bring to boil to a thin custard(if you prefer more syrup just add extra liquids and adjust the sugar) Add to the Pineapple achar mixNow make a wagaar2 cups oil1 Full tablespoon crushed garlic or you can use slices of garlicMustard seedsJeeru (Cumin) seedsCurry leaves When it sputters Pour hot wagaar over the Pineapples Let it cool Place in airtight Container and Refrigerate Enjoy
