1kg Lamb meat cut into pieces.3 onions chopped1 teaspoon whole cumin2 cardamons2 black pepper2 cloves1 cinammon stick2 bay leaves .In oil add all the whole spices stir for a minute then add onions stir every few minutes until deep golden color .Then Add1 teaspoon turmeric,Salt to taste,2 teaspoon ground pepper,1 tablespoon ginger/garlic paste (preferably freshly grinded)Leave to cook for few minutes.Add meat and leave to cook for around 30 minutes stirring at interval until water evaporated.Then add1 teaspoon coriander powder1 teaspoon cumin powder2 teaspoon chilli powder1 teaspoon tandoori powder2 chopped tomatoes½ tin tomato 2tbs tomato puree100g yogurtSaffron (optional)
Leave to cook until tomatoes dissolve in the sauce and meat is cooked around 20 or 30 minutes ...Add green chillies and garnish with chopped coriander. Serve with naan.
