INGREDIENTS
1kg self raising flour¾ teaspoon salt3 tablespoon baking powder250g butter1 cup crushed all bran flakes
Rub in butter.
Beat the following :1 large egg1 cup sugar2 cups buttermilk½ teaspoon vanilla essence1 tablespoon oil
Add to the dry ingredients and form a dough.
METHOD
Pat the dough into a prepared pan and slice.Bake until done, separate and dry out in a warm oven.
