RUHANA EBRAHIM'S RECIPES

INGREDIENTS

Ingredients:
3 dzn meatballs (kebabs- mutton/beef/chicken)
400g Today's puff pastry
Wooden skewers
1 egg beaten


METHOD

Soak skewers for few minutes.
Divide kebabs into halves and roll round again. Will give you 72 kebabs, and will make 24 skewers.
Roll out pastry and cut into 24 strips.
Place 3 meatballs in a line.
Brush egg on inside of pastry strip.
Thread pastry strip around meatballs.
Push skewer through the center of meatballs pushing through pastry as well.
Brush egg on pastry facing up.
Place in freezer to firm up for few minutes (or store in airtight container).
Bake in preheated oven at 180degC till pastry is puffed and golden. Serve with dip.
