For the steak : Ingredients :
2 kg rump steak (cubed)1 teaspoon ginger garlic 1 teaspoon garlic1 teaspoon green chillie garlic paste1 ½ teaspoon salt (or to taste)1 teaspoon lemon pepper 1 teaspoon cajun spice 1 teaspoon crushed black pepper 2 tablespoon lemon juice2 teaspoon Jeeru (Cumin) 2 large onions (chopped)2 teaspoon fine mustard powder2 large potatoes (cubed)½ cup coriander (chopped)1 big curry spoon butter/ghee (Clarified butter)2 tablespoon sago (boiled)
For the sago :Ingredients :
2 tablespoon sago Cold water (enough to cover sago)
For the steak :Marinate Steak in ginger and garlic, garlic, green chilli and garlic paste, salt, lemon pepper, cajun spice, crushed black pepper and lemon juice. Heat butter/ghee (Clarified butter) in a flat pot and in Jeeru (Cumin), onions, mustard powder and marinated steak. Cook steak till halfway done and add in potatoes. Cook till potatoes are tender and water has evaporated. Now add in boiled sago and cook till mixture thickens. Once cool add in coriander and fill pies as desired.
For the sago :
Soak sago in cold water ½ an hour. Put to boil on medium heat till sago turns into jelly.
