INGREDIENTS
500g steak strips1 packet coleslaw mix (green cabbage with carrots)1.5 tablespoon oil2 cloves garlic minced1 packet egg noodles or linguine boiled1 Cup broccoli sliced1 Cup cauliflower sliced3 spring onions cut into 5cm pieces
Chowmein Sauce:4 teaspoon cornflour4 tablespoon soy sauce 3 tablespoon Oyster sauce 3 teaspoon sugar *¹1 teaspoon sesame oilPinch white pepper
Stock:*²1 sachet beef stock dissolved in ½ c water or 1 cube
METHOD
Mix together sauce ingredients and use half to marinate steak for a minimum 10 minutes.Prepare noodles according to package instructions and keep asideHeat oil in a large pan or wok on high heat. Add garlic and stirfry for 10 secondsAdd steak and fry till surface gets a browning but inside is raw, about 2 minutesAdd in veg and cook for about 90seconds until the cabbage is wiltedAt this stage Add in the noodles, remaining sauce and stock. Stir fry fir 1 minutes tossing continuously. Add water if it seems dryBefore serving sprinkle over sesame seeds and spring onion
