1 kg rump / topside / fillet steak cut into big cubes ( steak shrinks as you cook ) 1 tablespoon garlic ( flat tablespoon ) 1 teaspoon ginger Ground green chili 2 tablespoon vinegar ¾ to 1 flat teaspoon crushed black pepper 1 ½ teaspoon gori MA's BBQ spice 1 ½ teaspoon gori ma's steak and chops spiceadd the salts last after it cooks as some spices are salty
1 chopped onion Oil and butter
MUSHROOM SAUCE :
Slice mushrooms Chopped onion ½ teaspoon garlic Salt and pepper
Marinate steak in all the above .Accept onions
In a pot add butter and oil,Add the onions and sauté until soft not brown . Add the steak and cook.Add lots of water and cook on low until meat is tender .Leave it nice and juicy .
Add salt if neededWhen you add in the water at that stage you can add your sweet potatoes .
Garnish with dhania (coriander)
MUSHROOM SAUCE : Add onions saute until soften . Add garlic and mushrooms sauce until slightly soft add the salt and pepper . Add some fresh cream as well as some milk and simmer
To thicken add 1 teaspoon flour with some milk ( make a paste first ).Pour in the mixture simmer and it will thicken
Serve with roti it naan
