INGREDIENTS
2 cups sugar1-¾ cups flour¾ cup cocoa powder1-½ teaspoons baking powder2 teaspoons baking soda½ teaspoon salt2 eggs1 cup milk½ cup vegetable oil1 teaspoon vanilla extract1 cup boiling waterPreheat oven to 180 degrees
Chocolate Ganach340g chocolate chips or broken up chocolate pieces 2 tablespoons butter 1 ¼ cup fresh cream
METHOD
and a large bowl, combine sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt.Add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla to dry mixture and mix with an hand mixer on medium for about 2 minutes. Gently mix in boiling water.Pour into pans and bake for plus minus 30/35 minutes .Cool on cooler rack
Method for Chocolate Ganach
Heat the cream, pour over the chocolate chips and butter then allow to sit for 5 minutes to soften. Once softened, whisk till smooth and silky and allow to cool,pour over the cooled cake.Decorate any way you like.
