INGREDIENTS
250g butter (room temp.),¾ cup icing sugar,1 cup maizena (corn flour) (corn flour),½ cup oil,1 teaspoon vanilla essence,± 2 cups flour (as needed)Red food coloringPink & white sprinkles
Also needed-Hershey's Chocolate Kisses (white or brown)Dairymilk chocolate (melted)OR Nutella
METHOD
1. Cream butter and sugar.2. Add rest of ingredients, and beat in.3. Add little flour at a time to make soft dough, binding by hand.4. Add few dots of gel or liquid red food colouring, and bind in until color desired is reached.5. Roll out into balls, then roll in sprinkles.6. Press with your thumb a hole (not all the way through).7. Place on a greased flat cookie sheet a few cm apart.8. Bake at 160 °c in a preheated oven, for about 15min.9. Remove from oven to cool.10. When cooled, spoon in a little melted chocolate and place on Hershey's Kisses or leave with just plain melted chocolate. Alternatively may spoon in some Nutella instead.
