It's a recipe I've had forever. I cant even remember which aunty gave it to me. But I hope you guys enjoy it 🌸
INGREDIENTS
4 cups (500gr) of flour 1½ cups (125ml) self-raising flour1½ tablespoon (22½ml) sugar1 teaspoon (5ml) salt1 packet (10gr) yeast1 cup (250ml) milk1 cup (250ml) boiling water½ cup (125ml) oil
METHOD
1) Sift flours into bowl.2) Add sugar, salt & yeast - mix.3) Make a well in the centre of the dry ingredients. 4) Mix milk, boiling water and oil together.5) Slowly add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients.6) Mix thoroughly until well blended & a soft dough is formed. 7) Cover and set aside for 1 hour.8) Lighlty grease you bread tins or baking trays. 9) Placed shaped rolls onto baking trays or dough into bread tins. 10) Allow to rise again.11) Bake at 180°C for 25-30 minutes or until done.
INFO & TIPS
You can brush with a beaten egg and add poppy or sesame seeds before baking.
You can make a slit and dust with cake flour before baking like I did.
