INGREDIENTS
1 block of haloumi (250g)
Coating:¼ cup flourPaprikaItalian herbsGarlic salt Black pepper
METHOD
1. Heat oil to 180°C for deep frying. 2. Cut haloumi block into six pieces lengthwise, then cut each sixth in half lengthwise. 3. Mix flour and spices together and coat the haloumi. 4. Fry for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown. 5. Remove from oil onto a paper towel to drain off excess oil. 6. Serve. 🍽️

• Serve immediately after frying.
• Serving suggestion: serve with a sweet chili or tzatziki dip.
• Recipe variation: after coating in flour, dip into beaten egg and coat in bread crumbs.
