INGREDIENTS
1 block halloumi Few tablespoons of flour (gf can be replaced with regular flour) 1 full teaspoon Zaa’tar Sprigs of mint(as much or as little as you would like) ¼ cup pomegranate ¼ cup yoghurt mixed , with salt, white pepper and lemon juice Lemons /limes Pomegranate molasses/concentrate Dry chillie flakes (optional)
METHOD
Cut a block of halloumi, pat dry and coat in flour (I used gluten free) and Za’taar mixed together.
Deep fry the halloumi hot oil till golden and drain on paper towel and arrange on a plate!Top with mint, pomegranates, and then drizzle pomegranate molasses and a yoghurt sauce (yoghurt, lemon, salt and pepper)Sprinkle with dry chillie flakes (optional)

Pomegranate molasses can be found in middle eastern stores and pomegranate concentrate is found at Woolworths!
