Meet my latest obsession — Japanese long fries with cheese sauce & jalapeños!
They’re extra long, extra cheesy, and totally worth the mess. 😅
🍟 Cheesy Japanese Long Fries with Jalapeños

INGREDIENTS
2 medium potatoes
2 tablespoon cornflour ( I added extra)
2 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon paprika
Salt & pepper to taste
2 tablespoon grated cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
Oil for deep frying
Topping:
Warm cheese sauce
Pickled jalapeño slices
METHOD
1️⃣ Boil & MashBoil peeled potatoes until soft, then mash until completely smooth.
2️⃣ Mix DoughAdd cornflour, flour, paprika, salt, pepper, and grated cheese.Mix into a smooth, slightly sticky dough (add a little flour if needed).
3️⃣ Pipe & ShapeSpoon the dough into a piping bag fitted with a large round or star nozzle.Pipe long fry shapes onto baking paper — make them as long as you like!Or roll between 2 separating sheets and cut long strips.
4️⃣ FryHeat oil on medium flame.Fry the fries until golden and crisp. Drain excess oil.
5️⃣ Top & ServePlace the fries on a plate, drizzle with cheese sauce, and top with pickled jalapeños.Serve hot and enjoy that cheesy, spicy crunch! 😋
✨Tips:
For extra crisp fries, chill the piped dough for 15–20 minutes before frying.
You can also air fry for a lighter version.
