Paya With Mielie Meal Roti

RECIPE
1 teaspoon whole Jeeru (Cumin), Peppercorns Cinnamon sticks Elachi (cardomom)1 sliced onion and braise. Then add your 1 kg paya (trotters) with :2 tablespoon ginger and garlic1 tablespoon red chillie powder 2 tablespoon dhana Jeeru (Cumin)1 teaspoon huldi1 tablespoon garam masala2 tablespoon Vinegar1 ½ teaspoon salt1 green chillie slit into pieces 2 grated tomatoesAnd braise until masala is cooked. Then add enough water and leave to boil until paya (trotters) is soft. Once cooked garnish with dhania (coriander).
Serve with mielie meal roti
Mielie meal roti 2 cups flour 1 cup mielie meal½ teaspoon salt2 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter)
Mix altogether. Tie dough with normal tap water. Make into small balls. Roll out and cook on tawa. (No using ghee (Clarified butter) to fry). This roti is very healthy.
