INGREDIENTS
1 medium potatoe cubed½ cup moong½ teaspoon jeeru (cumin)Pinch arad (Turmeric)¼ teaspoon black pepper½ - ¾ teaspoon chilli powderSalt to taste
METHOD
Boil moong with ½ teaspoon bicarb of soda until soft and mushy (I put in the pressure cooker for 10 minutes)Boil potatoes with ½ teaspoon salt until softMash potatoes then add in the spices and moong mix well. Form into balls and flatten slightlyLayer on a plate add 1 teaspoon double cream yogurt over each potato cutlet then add little dollops of amli (tamerine) (tamarind sauce) sprinkle dukkah / Paprika lastly add pur crushed. Serve cold or at room temperature. Enjoy
