INGREDIENTS
For the milk mixture:1 liter milk ¼ cup or more sugar to sweeten you may use condensed milk too. ½ teaspoon crushed cardamom powder Few strands of Saffron ¼ thinly sliced almonds ¼ cup chopped cashews 2 tablespoon chopped pistachios
For the dough balls:1 cup milk powder 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 egg
METHOD
Mix all the ingredients for the milk mixture and let it cook on low heat while you prepare the dough balls.
For the dough balls:Mix the milk powder and baking powder and make a smooth dough with the egg if it feels too hard you may add a bit of milk. Once the dough is nice and smooth roll in to tiny balls. When the milk comes to a boil add all the dough balls inside stirring gently. Let it simmer on low to medium heat till the dough balls become double in size and float to the top. You may break one dough ball to check if it's done from the inside. Remove from heat cool to room temperature, serve chilled. You may garnish with chopped nuts and strands of Saffron. Enjoy.
INFO & TIPS
Be very gentle when stiring after adding the dough balls they break very easily. While serving as well remove the dough balls first with the help of a spoon then pour over the milk. If you pour it straight from to pot to a serving dish it will break.
And if incase your dough balls do break it's no big deal just it wnt look as nice. But it will not effect the taste. It will still be just as delicious.
