12 chicken wings with skin on (separated into drummette and flat piece, makes 24 wings) Brine-1 cup milk4 tablespoon lemon juice4 tablespoon Tabsaco garlic sauce½ teaspoon Roberson's garlic salt Coating-2 cups flour3 tablespoon paprika powder1 tablespoon cayenne pepper1 ½ teaspoon garlic salt1 tablespoon dried mixed herbs1 teaspoon onion powderGood pinch turmeric powder½ teaspoon lemon pepper
1. Mix lemon juice, salt and tabasco in milk in a deep dish.2. Leave to sit for 15min.3. Then add in washed & drained wings.4. Leave to sit for 30min at room temperature.5. Heat your deep fryer or frying pan with oil. 6. Mix the coating ingredients together.7. Dip the wings into spiced flour and fry for 10min or until golden all over and cooked through. 8. Place on an oven tray and place in a preheated oven on low heat for 10min. Serve with chips, coleslaw and milk rolls.
