INGREDIENTS
3 - 4 potatoes peeled and boiled
Mash and add in:
Salt to taste2 teaspoon Chilli powder 1 teaspoon green masala 2 ½ teaspoon ginger & garlic paste½ teaspoon mustard seeds½ teaspoon cumin seeds1 teaspoon turmeric powder1 pinch asafoetida (hing)Chopped coriander
Mix well
METHOD
Rub oil on your hands and make medium sized balls with potatoes.
Batter:1 cup besan (gram flour)⅓ cup water or add as required 1 teaspoon turmeric powder¼ teaspoon red chilli powder½ teaspoon salt or add as required1 pinch baking soda
oil for deep frying, as required
Coat balls in batter and fry till golden.
Serve hot with fried & salted green chillies and chutney.
