INGREDIENTS
Smoothie:1 ½ cups frozen mixed berries200g pink dragon fruit (placed in freezer)150g strawberry yoghurt2 tablespoons chia seeds (optional)1 teaspoon lime/ or lemon juice1 cup milk/ or almond milk/ or coconut milkSugar/ or honey (to taste if you want)
METHOD
1. Place frozen berries, dragon fruit, yoghurt, chia seeds, & lime juice to blender. 2. Add milk, cover and blend on high until smooth. 3. Switch off and scrape the sides down with a silicone spatula and blend few a few seconds again.4. Pour smoothie into a glass and have as is, or top with chopped fruit or additional chia seeds.
INFO & TIPS
(Serves 2-3)
Note:
a) If smoothie is too thick, add 1/4 cup milk and re-blend.
b) If smoothie is too thin, add 1/4 cup frozen berries or ice, and re-blend.
c) Dragon fruit is also known as pitaya and is rich in antioxidants and Vit C.
