1 litre milk5 tblspns sago (soak in a little water for 15-20mins)¼ cup vermicelli ¼ cup semolina powder 1 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter)1 tin condensed milk1 tin nestle cream1 granadilla pulp with seeds
1.) Warm ghee (Clarified butter), add vermicelli and cook till golden brown - then add the semolina and about 1cup of the milk - continue whisking till it comes to a boil (so it doesn’t get lumpy).2.) Add the rest of the milk when it starts to boil- continue whisking and bring to a boil again.3.) Remove the pan from the stove and leave the mixture to cool.4.) Once cool, add the contents of condensed milk, nestle cream and granadilla (keep a little of this aside for decorating) and mix well.5.) Transfer to serving bowls and decorate with the rest of the granadilla pulp/seeds.
INFO & TIPS
Granadilla can be substituted with tinned peaches, tinned pears or tinned fruit cocktail (cut into small pieces - without the syrup as it will be too sweet with the syrup)
