INGREDIENTS
Step one250g butter 2 cups milk 2 teaspoon rose water
Combine the above and microwave until melted but not too hot
Step twoSift together¾ cup sugar1 cup flour2 teaspoon baking powder1 cup semolina1 teaspoon fresh ground Elachi (cardomom)1 cup slightly roasted dessicated coconut
METHOD
Combine the two steps until mixed and beat until there are no lumps.
Bake at 180 deg for 25 to 30 minutes
Garnish with red and green toasted almonds and coconut
To make cupcakesPrepare 2 x 12 hole tins.Half fill the cups.Bake for 15 minutes.OptionalFor the topping, I used 1 cup dessert cream, half cup klim, sweetened with condensed milk. Flavoured with Elachi (cardomom) powder and rose water. I just tasted as I went along. I also added crushed pistachios.
