INGREDIENTS
• 1 kg fillet steak-cut into nice round portions 🍖Marination• Glug olive oil • 1 tablespoon coarse garlic • 1 teaspoon course salt flakes• 1 teaspoon teaspoon crushed Black pepper• 1 teaspoon Steak and chops spice• 1 teaspoon coarse chilli flakes• Blob butter to cook steak
METHOD
🍖melt butter and oil and Flash Fry meat on each side for 3 or more minutes, depending on your type of cooking preference.Close lid and cook further till water evaporates and pour in about 2 tablespoon bisto powder mixed in 1 cup water or more depending on thickness of gravy. Pour into steak and cook few minutes till thick and saucy.
Battered onion rings- 🧅Slice thick round onions Make a batter with - enough water to make the batter approx ¼ cup + mixed with 1 whisked egg, salt, pepper, dry herbs and spices, flour and combine till resembles thick batter and lastly add ½ teaspoon baking powder and give it a quick mix dip each ring in batter and fry
Serve with fries and a veg rice and egg fried over
