With Mazina (or Corn Flour)
RECIPE
500 ml double thick Yoghurt or Maas1 teaspoon dhana jeera1-2 teaspoon ground green chilliGreen dhania (coriander) (coriander)+-1 teaspoon tumeric ( optional)+- ½ teaspoon sugar ( optional to.cut a bit of the sourness)2 tablespoon MAZINA (or corn flour) Make a paste with little water ( add more if necessary to thicken(Make paste with little water)Liquidise all the above together
In pot melt 3-4 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter) (Clarified butter) or ButterAdd 1 teaspoon whole Jeeru (Cumin) (Cumin)½ teaspoon mustard seedsFew curry leaves1 whole green chilli or Red ChilliBraise with ½ sliced onionBraise till onion is golden in colourAdd all the liquidised yoghurt mixtureCook on med heat whilst beating with egg beater to smoothen the mixtureCook till a nice custardy consistencyMake wagaar againWith ghee (Clarified butter) (Clarified butter) little whole Jeeru (Cumin) (Cumin) and onionGarnish with green dhania (coriander) (coriander) againEnjoy with Kitchri
