170g butter (melted)1 cup brown sugar½ cup icing sugarAdd 1 egg plusThe yolk of another egg1 teaspoon vanilla essence Sieve 2 cups flour1 teaspoon salt (level) 1. 5 teaspoon b powder200g milk choc chopped into chunks
METHOD
170g butter (melted)1 cup brown sugar½ cup icing sugar.Beat above v well..When mixture is cool,Add 1 egg plusThe yolk of another egg.Beat well.Add vanilla essence (1tsp)..Sieve 2 cups flour1 teaspoon salt (a little less if you wish) 1. 5 teaspoon b powderMix together..Chop 200g milk chocolate into chunky bits.. Add the butter mixture to the dry ingredients.Mix together to form a dough.Add choc chunks.(reserve a few to add to the top of each one)🌹❤️.Manipulate into spheres.(small spheres)..Add to your baking tray.(good spacing because they flatten into cookies) Bake at 160C for 15min..At 15min you will yield decadently chewy cookies. (this was my 1st tray) If you leave it for longer you will yield crispy ones. (this was my 2nd tray) 🌹.We unanimously agreed on chewy for this cookie. 😍. P. S they're quite sweet as any sugar cookie should be, but if you prefer less sweet you could reduce the sugar by ⅛ th cup on each sugar. Reduce the salt accordingly too, if you do (½ teaspoon) .
