INGREDIENTS
-1kg leg mutton(cut in cubes) washed and drained-potatoes peeled,cut and washed-1 onion(diced)-Β½ TIN chopped tomatoes-1 ΒΎ teaspoon salt-ΒΎ teaspoon arad (Turmeric) -1 teaspoon dhana Jeeru (Cumin) powder-1 teaspoon red chilli powder-Β½ teaspoon sugar-1 teaspoon freshly ground ginger-Β½ teaspoon freshly ground garlic-Β½ teaspoon red masala-finely chopped green dhania (coriander) for garnishing-1 teaspoon ghee (Clarified butter) -2 teaspoon oil
Unsliced Bread For ServingCut as ΒΌβs or Β½βs and make a well (hollow) centre
METHOD
1.)heat oil,add onions and cook till golden brown then add the mutton and cook for 15mins on medium heat.2.)add the red masala,ginger and garlic and a bit of boiled water and cook for a further 15mins on medium heat.3.)add all of the spices and cook for again for 15mins on medium heat.4.)add the potatoes, tomatoes and sugar and cook again for 15mins on medium heat.5.)add a bit of boiled water to make to make a gravy and boil for 10mins on high heat till meat is tender and gravy is a bit thick.6.)garnish with green dhania (coriander).7.)serve the mutton curry in a hollow bread with lots of gravy so it gets soaked π enjoy with kachoomer on the side!
