Coffee Almond shells 1 tablespoon dry nescafe coffee2 teaspoon water225g butter¾ cup brown sugar1 egg yolk ¾ cup ground almonds Approx 11/2 cups self raising flour
Combine coffee with water,stir until dissolved. Set aside. Beat butter and sugar well. Add in egg yolk. Add in coffee mixture. Beat. Stir in ground nuts. Add the self raising flour in small additions kneading in between as you want a soft dough to push through a nozzle. Spray a baking pan. Using a nozzle, push dough through and make a shell shape, or log etc. Bake at 180 degrees approx for 12 to 15 minutes depending on your oven. Cool on a wire rack.
