INGREDIENTS
use 1 chicken. marinate with 1tblspn
ginger garlic, 1&½ teaspoon salt,red
masala,dhana jeeroo and arad (Turmeric).add
cup buttermilk,2grated tomatoes &
pinch of zafron. finely chop and fry
3onions til golden brown. peel and
cut
4potatoes and fry til knife cuts
thru.boil 1cup Masoor (Back lentils) and 1&½
cup
basmati rice(parboiled).add most of
onions & Masoor (Back lentils) to chicken and
add
all potatoes.mix and let stand for
10minutes. in a deep pot add
2tblpns
ghee (Clarified butter) or enuf oil to coat bottom of
pot.sprinkle some rice,Masoor (Back lentils) and
onions.put chicken mix in. top with
remainding rice.sprinkle the rest of
Masoor (Back lentils) and onions. add 1&½ cup
water.cover with foil and lid.steam
