INGREDIENTS
2 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter). 1 whole green cardamom 2 small cinnamon sticks1 ½ cup vermicelli 60ml water ½ teaspoon fine ground cardamom1-2 tablespoon xylitol and 1 large date1 tablespoon fresh cream
METHOD
melt ghee (Clarified butter). Fry cardamom and cinnamon sticks for about 1 minutes. Throw in vermicelli and toast till golden. Add about water and sprinkle ground cardamom on top. Simmer for 2 minutes then add in xylitol and date
Continue adding water, not more than 30ml to 40ml at a time till the vermicelli is soft, according to your preference. Now add fresh cream, mix well and serve.
INFO & TIPS
soak the date in half a cup of boiling water for 4mins. This will soften the date making it easier to work with
