Custard Bring the following to a boil in a pot: 1 ½ cups milk2 tablespoon butter 3 tablespoon sugar In a separate bowl, mix together 2 tablespoon cornflour½ cup milk
Now mix in the egg and vanilla essence. The egg needs to be mixed in throughly. Add the egg mixture to the grated milk mixture by poring in slowly while whisking quickly. The mixture will start to thicken. Refrigerate the mixture for at least 15 minutes. To assemble, spoon custard into the middle of your French toast cups, dust the top with cinnamon and drizzle maple syrup.
