Pour 3 tablespoon (or preferred amount) white sugar into a nonstick pan. Melt on low. Use a Rubberized whisk to stir occasionally. As soon as sugar turns liquid & golden, drizzle over naartjies. Alternatively, you may add the naartjie slices, tossing them in the syrupy mixture, and remove immediately. You may also dip each one individually on a skewer stick.

Tip: Work fast as sugar hardens & burns very fast.
