RECIPE
2 litres milk Bring milk to the boil then whilst on stove Remove from stove Quickly add ¼ Cup Vinegar or Lemon juice keep stirring as the milk will curdle Now remove from stove Let it cool a while Now Strain in a colander or large sieve by placing a muslin or cheese or white cotton or calico cloth pour the curd on the clean cloth and let most of water drain off.. try and squeeze out as much of the water as u canWhen done Flatten it slightly into a thick square or rectangular shape Wrap it tightly in the cloth so the sides are smooth and nice Fold the cloth nicely Put something heavy on the cloth to flatten and firm Place a pot of water or something heavy on the cloth and leave for a few hours toSet.I placed it in fridge to firm up and placed few heavy side plates on😊. Once it's firm cut in blocksI usually seal tight in cling wrap and keep in fridge to use or freezerMy best Serving suggestionTomato chutney with peasAnd paneer cubes with RotiOr spinash and paneerEnjoy 😋
