INGREDIENTS
½ kg mutton pieces
¼ cup oil.
½ teaspoon cumin seeds
5 pepper corns
1 cinnamon stick
2 cardamoms
2 cloves
2 ½ teaspoon ginger/garlic paste
2 teaspoon ground green chillies
¼ cup choped onions
salt to taste
2 cups cubed tomatoes
1 tablespoon chilli powder
½ teaspoon tumeric powder
1 teaspoon coriander and cumin powder
1 tablespoon tomato puree
1 teaspoon vinegar
3 tablespoon yoghurt/sour milk
Chopped coriander
METHOD
1.Wash and drain mutton2.In a medium pot,sauté together onions,cumin seeds,condiments,ginger/garlic pate and ground green chillies in oil.3.Add cubed tomatoes and spices to the above.add ½ cup water and allow to cook for +/- 6-8 minutes. 4.Add the mutton and vinegar to the above. Allow to cook over medium heat until mutton is tender (add more water if necessary.)5.lastly add yoghurt/sour milk and allow to simmer for 2 minutes.garnish with chopped coriander
