No syrup icing sugar dusting
RECIPE
2 Cups flour 2 teaspoon baking powderPinch of SaltMix wellAdd 2 teaspoon melted ghee (Clarified butter) or butter Rub well Add 1 teaspoon lemon juice to the flour Now Add +-¾ cup Ice water Add more water if necessary to make a soft doughKnead well and cover keep in fridge for +-10 minutes (I adjusted the time)Then divide dough into small balls of equal amountRoll out into thin tissue rotis smear with melted ghee (Clarified butter) and dust mazina on each roti and make 2 Lots now Roll up to make 2 large rotis then keep in fridge to firm up a bit like a Swiss rollSeal EDGES with Rose water Cut 1 or 2 cm width You will get almost 18 pieces from both rolls .. lightly roll with rolling pin to get the Banana shape Fry in med hot oil Drain on paper towel let all the oil drain out for hours or over nightWhen cold Dust icing sugar Over sprinkle almonds or Dessicated coconut over and you can sprinkle crushed Elachi (cardomom) powder and dust with sparkling dustOr make syrup and spoon COLD SYRUP over the puris and enjoy see tip

Tip
The thinner the roti discs the flakier the Banana puri
If you prefer syrup then pour over each fried banana puri and do Garnish as you please i used Dessicated coconut
