I adapted and Tried it and made it
No syrup icing sugar dusting
RECIPE
2 Cups flour 1 & ½ teaspoon baking powderPinch of SaltMix wellAdd 2 tablespoon melted ghee (Clarified butter) or butter Rub well Add 1 teaspoon lemon juice to the flour Now Add +-¾ cup Ice water Add more water if necessary to make a soft doughKnead well and cover keep in fridge for +- 2 hours Then divide dough into 2 Roll out 2 big rotis smear with melted ghee (Clarified butter) and dust mazinaRoll up like a Swiss rollCut into 7 or 8 each Swiss rollNow roll each out each piece into Large thin discsLayer one by one and smear Again ghee (Clarified butter) and mazina on the disc and pile one on top of the other Then roll out into a big roti smear again and dust with mazinaThe thinner the disc the more flaky Now roll up again as Swiss roll Cut 1 or 2 cm width You will get almost 18 pieces from both rolls .. lightly roll with rolling pin to get the Banana shape Fry in med hot oil Drain on paper towel let all the oil drain out When cold Dust icing sugar Over sprinkle almonds or Dessicated coconut over and you can sprinkle crushed Elachi (cardomom) powder and dust with sparkling dustOr make syrup and spoon over the puris and enjoy see tip

Tip
If you prefer syrup then pour over each fried banana puri and do Garnish as you please i used Dessicated coconut
